HARE Polish Sea Bunny Swatch & Review

Hi everyone! Today I have a really fabulous new HARE polish to show you called Sea Bunny. It's an ivory white jelly with black squares and hexes, charcoal flakies, gold flakies and holographic shimmer. It applies easily and has great glitter pay off. I used three thin coats for full opacity.

This color is inspired by a super adorbs sea slug called Jorunna parva otherwise known as the Sea Bunny! Awwwww!

This is not available at the moment on the HARE polish Etsy store, and I'm not sure if it will be restocked but I would stalk her store for it just in case. It's such a gorgeous polish, I really hope she brings it back! I'm such a huge HARE fan, everything they make I fall in love with :) How about you? Is there one indie brand you just can't stay away from?

Cirque Colors The Metropolis Collection September 2015 Swatches & Review

Hi everyone! I hope the week is treating you well :) I have the three new shades from Cirque Colors for The Metropolis collection for September 2015 to show you today! They had a bit of a break in releasing new crème colors for this ongoing collection, as we haven't seen new ones since June, but they are back in action now! This month's colors might be my favorite yet, they are so good!

Deco is a lavender-grey crème. This one can kind of change colors in different lights, looking much more purple in some and way more grey in others, and kinda blue at times This was almost a one coater, very buttery and opaque in a nice thin, but not runny, consistency. I used two coats for full coverage. It also dries very shiny.

Jane on Jane St is a chic rose-mauve crème. It has the same excellent formula, opaque in two coats with a shiny finish. Good golly, I am in love with this color!

Page Six is a dove grey crème. I am just amazed at the formulas on these, they are all so great they practically apply themselves. Two coats, dries very shiny.

You can purchase these shades and the rest of the colors in The Metropolis collection on the Cirque Colors website for $13 each. Be sure to check their list of stockists too! What do you think of these moody pale shades? I think they are great transitional colors for the start of a colder season!

Nine Zero Lacquer Fall 2015 Harvest Festival Collection Swatches & Review

Happy Labor Day cookies! If you're in the US anyway, if you're not, then happy regular Monday! :) I'm excited to bring you a review today of the new Nine Zero Lacquer! This is a new indie brand created by my friend and one of my favorite YouTubers, Jess from Jessface90! Her debut collection for Fall 2015 is called Harvest Festival, eight full coverage holographics, and I also have their holographic top coat to show you today too. Let's see them!

First I want to mention the bottle these polishes come in. They are square-bottomed, rectangular 13 ml glass bottles with a shorter brush stem and a wider flat brush, but not as wide as OPI's for example. I appreciate this as I feel this makes polish easier to apply for me than a thin, round brush. The smaller bottle made wrapping my chubby fingers around it for photos a little challenging, but I don't really mind haha. I love the sleek holographic lettering she's using on the front of the bottles for a logo as well, though it did freak my camera out with color balance a few times.

Candy Apple is a magenta red linear holographic. It had a great, nicely thin but opaque formula. I used two coats here. These all dry down slightly dull so I think a top coat is good to really bring out the sparkle.

S'more Holo is a greige taupe linear holographic. This is a little thicker than the darker colors in the collection, but it is still easy to apply. It's not as strong of a holo as some of the others but you get a nice rainbow in the sun. Two coats.

Concord is a grape purple linear holographic. Same formula as Candy Apple, very fiery holo pay off. I feel like the holo particles in this are a little larger maybe as it's just so super blingy. Two coats on this one as well.

Pumpkin Everything is a muted pumpkin spice orange linear holographic. Same formula as S'more, a little thicker and not quite as strong of a holo, but smooth and opaque in two coats. This is a unique shade to have in a holo formula, I've never seen one like this before and I love it! I'm a total pumpkin-a-holic and this fits right into my Fall scene!

Cypress is a pine green linear holographic. Great formula and very opaque. I used two coats here. I am head over heels with this color, I put it back on after I finished swatching these!

Cricket is a black linear holographic. This is super creamy and opaque. It's very dark which means the holo isn't as super strong as some other black holos I have, but I like that it retains it's blackness and doesn't turn into a charcoal or grey. Two coats but it's basically opaque in one.

September Sky is a medium blue linear holographic. This is also very nice and easy to apply. Opaque in two coats. I had no staining with this at all, which is good because I flooded my cuticle pretty bad on one nail because I wasn't paying attention haha.

Corn Maize is a bright mustard yellow linear holographic. This one has the thinner consistency of the darker colors, but it's also a little jelly-ish. Even so, it was still opaque in two coats for me. I like this a lot as we don't usually see this shade in a holographic formula.

Holo All The Things! is their silver holographic top coat. I put one thin coat over a black crème and I got this stunning result. This is a super holo, very rainbowy and it retains a linear structure really well which makes it stand out against other holo top coats on the market. I can see getting a lot of use out of this!

The Harvest Festival shades are available for pre-order now at www.ninezerolacquer.com until September 12 at 11:59 pm EST (US) for $9.50 each or $70 for the set of eight. The holographic top coat is $8. She also has a fast drying top coat, matte top coat, sticky base coat, and a ridge filling base coat available for $6 individually or $10 for a duo.

I'm pretty impressed with the inaugural Nine Zero Lacquer collection! It's always super exciting when a nail polish blogger/vlogger/reviewer/swatcher creates their own colors/formulas because they have so much knowledge about what is good and what people like. I can't wait to see what she comes out with next! What do you think of these fun Fall holos?
