I decided to wear this polish on New Year's day, it was a Christmas present from my Dad & Step-Mom. Good Girl Gone Bad is a re-released shade from Deborah Lippmann, it was originally released in a limited edition miniature set called "Party Like a Rockstar" in Winter of 2008. She put out a full size bottle this Holiday season along with some other colors.
Good Girl Gone Bad is a "bold, cabernet glimmer". I love the glitter in this babe. I can't quite decide whether to put it in my red drawer or my purple drawer, though it will probably end up in the purple one. I used three coats for this mani and it dries rather dull unfortunately so I used two coats of top coat, my current holy grail, Cult Nails Wicked Fast.
'Til next time, have a great New Year everyone! Wooo hooo!!

Very pretty colour!!
ReplyDeleteLove it !
This reminds me of OPI DS Extravagance!
ReplyDeletethis is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your move? Being close to family is always nice - especially when you can help out. I love this color. It's very elegant.

ReplyDeletegorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous and I have missed your nail! <3
ReplyDeleteI fall in love ...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous color
Love this one. It's in my untrieds that has grown way too big of late since I was going through out of town medical treatments for a little over 3 months with major on line shopping hitting me hard to keep my spirits up!!! I think the purple drawer is where this one goes. Thanks for the heads up on Cult's clear topper. I try so many and always go back to SV it seems. It's got to be shiny and that one always gives that plus a dense look to the clear coat that looks like 40 coats and I am looking through that topper to the nail below. But I will put Cult's on my list to try. I sure like everything else I have tried from Cult
ReplyDeleteForgot to add, you are a dear for moving back to NV to help out your mom. Having just done 8 weeks of out of town medical with 2 surgeries and follow up treatment all by myself, getting home 2 days ago finally after being gone since Halloween, I am glad to be home, but it's so hard to be in a medical down slide all alone. I hear ya about realizing how much polish you have when you have to clean out and move. I already have decided I need to downsize in that and lots more areas! I have so many new, never used bottles, I need to open a blog & get started showing what I love & using it for blog sales too. I have dupes of so many lovely things. Give yourself a huge hug for making the decision to move to NV and help your mom. It's a gift only you could do and make your mom feel the amount of comfort & security she is now feeling.
ReplyDeleteOh Kellie, I love it! I've got to find it. Definitely a purple IMHO :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm also with Beachgal and I wasn't laid up :-/ I'm currently at 42 untrieds (oh but with 1 from Cult, 3 from Julep, and 2 from Illmasqua on the way - eek! :-) ) - but maybe that's not a lot...? (ps I hope you're doing better Beachgal!).
Kellie, I hope the move was ok and that you and yours are well.
XO, Tara
Oh and when I said oh not a lot, I meant for nail bloggers - I'm new to the blogging world and didn't realise how many awesome and talented bloggers there were out there, and my polish stash - which I thought was huge at several hundred (I'm new to blogging but old to nail polish addiction!) - seems small compared to so many of you awesome ladies :D
ReplyDeleteStart a blog BG! (just saw your 2nd comment after I posted mine). I would follow it in a heartbeat and LOVE to see what you have for sale or trade! :-)

*HUGS* I hope your mom is feeling better.
ReplyDeleteI love that color! (I have it too lol). Funny how everyone organizes their polishes.....I do mine by brand, plus I have my swatch wheels to look at beforehand (yes, all my current polishes are swatched!!!)
Glad you're back-you've been missed :) Good luck settling in!
Oh wow, love this color! It has so much depth and sparkle <3.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year sweetie. So sorry about your Mother. Hope your move was a good one. I pray things will turn around for the better. This polish is gorgeous. Love the shade and the glitter is amazing. I'm trying not to buy any polish unless it's so amazing. I can't believe the amount of polish I have either.
