Three Shades from the China Glaze Sea Goddess Collection

Hi folks! Today I have three of the six shades from the China Glaze Sea Goddess collection for Spring 2014. The collection has four metallic sparkle texture glitters and two creme based texture glitters. It looks like the texture trend is here to stay for a while!

First is Tail Me Something, a beautiful metallic lavender with lots of silver hints throughout. There are some multi-sized glitter in this so it doesn't give off a solid look, it's nicely faceted. I love how blingy it is! I used two coats.

Next is Sand Dolla Makes Me Holla, a white creme based texture with multicolored sprinkle-like glitters. I first saw images of this polish on instagram and I knew I had to have it! I like the cake frosting look of this, but it was difficult to apply because of the thickness. And it dries to look almost gummy, blech. I used three coats.

This is Seahorsin' Around, a turquoise blue metallic texture. This is super duper pigmented, like whoa. It has bits of gold glitter in the turquoise that makes it look a little deeper. The finish on this one reminds me of solid color textures, a more dense look than Tail Me Something. I used two coats here.

You can buy China Glaze at retailers like Sally Beauty Supply and Ulta, and for around $6 each. What are your thoughts on this collection? Are you a texture fan or not so much? I really love these metallic finishes, but I can't say the same about the creme hybrid finish of Sand Dolla. Have a great one!
