Cult Nails My Kind of Cool Aid - Take Two

This is my second blog post about this polish, my first post had horrendous photos of this beautiful polish, so I'm calling a do-over.

Cult Nails My Kind of Cool Aid is a lavender grey creamy polish with subtle shimmer. I adore this shade, it's pretty unique although a little similar to Rescue Beauty Lounge's Insouciant that came out early this year. It's opaque and perfect in two coats.

I decided to put a coat of Sally Hansen's Hidden Treasure over it and it was AWESOME. Love this combo! The lamp light turns the purple more vivid than the shots above, haha.

I love Cult Nails, the owner is Maria from R3Daily in case you are new to the scene. She is a good friend and I finally get to meet her this year at CosmoProf in Las Vegas! Can't wait :) Her and a bunch of other blogging friends and I are all getting together to nosh and gab sometime during the week of the convention. Super excited and can't wait!

china glaze fortune teller

this is swatch 2.0 for this blog, because my first one was icky icky poo. china glaze's halloween special polishes for 2009 were called fortune teller and spellbound. i have yet to get my greedy hands on spellbound (hint for any one who wants to get me a present!) but i was lucky enough to snag two bottles of fortune teller. and for good reason, because it is probably my second favorite china glaze polish EVER!  (in case you're interested, i think the first would have to be the classic ruby pumps)

deep black fudgy sludgy base with different sizes of sequin orange glitter pieces, this is the epitome of halloween. it is a bit of a hassle to apply and doesn't wear that great. i almost never get chips and even i have trubs with this guy. but just LOOK! LOOK AT THE GLORY! *sigh* i will take this to my grave i think, i love it that much!

please don't mind my angry red cuticles, i had just AHA'd them and *yikes* cut them :( i know i know, it's bad to cut, and i need to stop.  it's a sickness!

revisited peachy orange

ok this notd is the very first nail look i ever posted, the charlotte russe brand no name peachy orange lacquer. but the picture was awful and it is a cute color so here it is again. i slapped it on in a hurry so the application is less than stellar. two coats, no fuss. this dries semi-matte but of course i used seche vite on top to dry this baby quick. xoxo!
