I saw these sexy hawt fellas in concert and it was so damn good it was retarded really awesome. The only downside is that the dress code apparently dictated that concert-goers must have a beard and smell bad. It was worth it.
@SarahThank you for your comment. I chose to use the word in the slang vernacular, meaning: in love to the point of stupefaction. I do apologize for any offense you took, however I do not think the word is insensitive unless directed at a person with malice. I reserve the right to express myself as I choose, thanks :)
@Sarah Thanks, again I am sorry you are taking offense to this. but this is my blog and I will express myself as I choose. I give you the same respect.
Thank you Kellie. I do appreciate the respect and courtesy you've shown in your responses. This is an issue extremely close to my heart and to my life personally. I have a daughter who is severely developmentally disabled. I have enjoyed your blog in the past and found you to be a very thoughtful and helpful blogger. Of course this is your blog and you are entitled to speak as you see fit. It is a free country after all. I just wanted to share a different perspective on a word which many people treat very casually but is truly, and is widely regarded as, a harmful epithet.
@Sarah I understand your perspective and thank you for sharing it. I will take what you have said to heart and hope you will still keep reading as I mean no one any harm or offense. I admire your convictions.
