Different Dimension Let Them Eat Glitter Collection Swatches & Review

Hey kids! I'm back again for a brand new adventure. Today's nail polish collection is called Let Them Eat Glitter by indie brand Different Dimension in collaboration with youtuber Nicole of Young, Wild and Polished! This collection consists of six glittery, sparkly, insanely blingy polishes. They are so fun!

Different Dimension Mrs. Rabbit is a purpley magenta jelly with intense blue shimmers, filled with chunky pink holographic glitters. This one seems pretty sheer on the first coat, but builds up a lot on the second. I still added another coat because I felt the base was still slightly translucent, but two is probably fine. I don't love this color, but it's pretty unique to my collection!

Different Dimension YWPimpin is a gunmetal linear holographic polish with added gold flakies, sterling silver plated flakies and gold holographic microglitters. This polish is epic! One of my favorite types of polishes from DD, so glad to have one in this color. Applies like a dream, two coats for opacity.

Different Dimension Champagne Rain is made up of uber fine holographic gold and silver microglitters in a holographic base. Insanely beautiful, that awesome fine glitter is so smooooth! This is almost a one coater but I used two to completely cover every tiny crevice. Real thirsty though, my first coat of top coat was all sucked up and basically disappeared by the time I walked outside to get a picture so I put another on.

Different Dimension Topaz 2.0 is a lightened rose gold glitter bomb. Full of pink and gold holographic glitters and gold flakies in a rose gold tinted base. I found the base to be a little watery and I didn't get a ton of glitter out on the first coat, however on the second coat it was perfect! The second stuck to the first really well and I was able to get great coverage with the glitter. I love anything rose gold, so this is dear to my heart.

Different Dimension Banjo Bling is a gold holographic glitter bomb, filled with gold holographic glitters in hexes and squares, and sterling silver plated and gold flakies. Same formula as Topaz 2.0, also two coats here.

Different Dimension Glitter Bug is basically the silver version of Banjo Bling. It has silver holographic glitters in different size hexes and squares as well as sterling silver plated flakies. Same formula as the other two glitter bombs, two coats for coverage.

They put a disclaimer on the listing of this collection saying "some of these polishes may require an extra coat of top coat to smooth out the glitters" and I find that to be very accurate. But only one extra coat should be necessary, so they're not much different than any other chunky glitter. You can purchase these now on the Different Dimension website for $50. Most of them are available individually for $8.75 except YWPimpin, which is $11. So you definitely save some moola by buying this as a set. More Glam Polish Swatches & Review

Hey there, good morning beautiful! I hope you're doing well so far today. I had kind of a rough few days, but I think things are looking up a little. I have some random Glam Polish shades to show you today that I picked up a while ago. I just love Glam Polish, I cannot stop myself from buying them!

Glam Polish Totally Buggin' is one of the Clueless trio polishes that came out about a month ago. This has an almost-black linear holographic base with a bunch of glitters in charcoal, black, white and holographic silver mixed in. This has a great formula despite it being very glitter-dense. I used two coats here. Due to all the glitter I'd recommend a thick top coat for smoothness.

Glam Polish Take A Bow is from the Gleek collection released last summer. I used to be way into the show Glee when it first started, but I dropped off after the story line went a little too wacky for me haha. This is a cornflower blue linear holographic with subtle pink shimmer. In different lighting it can appear more purple because of the shimmer combination but it's definitely a blue. This was a little more sheer than I expected, but I still only needed two coats.

Glam Polish Glam Batch #22 was released as a one-off special batch in Fall of 2015. This is a navy blue with gallons of gold glitter and holo bits. It's almost a textured polish there's so much glitter in here, but two coats of top coat make it smooth. Great formula, albeit a little thick, and opaque in two coats. Dries pretty slow, I smeared a few nails even using quick dry top coat when I wore this as a full manicure. And I noticed I had some staining on my nails after removal, so I definitely need to double up on the base coat next time I wear this.

Pretty Serious Cosmetics Holiday 2015 Ghosts of Christmas Future Collection Swatches & Review

Hey kids! I've got the Holiday 2015 collection from Australian indie brand Pretty Serious Cosmetics to show you today! It's called Ghost of Christmas Future. So...happy late Christmas?? For serious though, even though this is last year's holiday collection, the colors are still relevant no matter what the season. There are eight shades in this collection, all in a metallic and/or foil finish! I didn't use a top coat for any of these swatches, they sparkled and shone smoothly enough without one.

Pretty Serious Santa's Sunburn is a red metallic finely milled foil. You can see glimmer bits of silver pop out here and there, so cute! It has an incredible formula, this is only one coat! One looked so good I couldn't bear to put another on, which is very rare for me. This polish color originally came out in 2012 but was retired, then was brought back as inspiration for this collection with all the other colors coming to life in similar finishes!

Pretty Serious Joy to the Overlords is a purple metallic with silver shimmer. This was on the thin side, it appeared to be a little sheer on the first coat, but was totally opaque in two. Purples aren't always my favorite, but this one is warm enough and with just enough glisteny bits to hold my interest.

Pretty Serious Eat, Drink and Assimilate is a burnt orange coppery foil. A heavier particle of metallic than the red shade, less mirror-like but more prismatic. Excellent formula, this is just one coat!

Pretty Serious Hack The Halls is a vibrant green metallic foil with gold and silver sparkly bits. This was pretty opaque, but not quite a one coater. I used two here. I love this so much, it's a fabulous green that works for spring as well as holiday!

Pretty Serious Frosty the Snowborg is a white hot icy silver foil. This is super pale, almost a white, but it's definitely silver. Fine shimmer, close to a chrome type of finish. This is also just one coat! You may see some brushstrokes, but I think that's actually the ridges in my nails showing due to the finish.

Pretty Serious A Christmas Time Paradox is a blue metallic with tiny silver glimmers. The finish of this one seemed the most different from the others, thinner with frosty shimmer that shows more brushstrokes. I used two coats for opacity here.

Pretty Serious The Night Before... has a black base filled with silver foil shimmer. This is another amazing one, opaque in just one coat. I thought this would be more grey/gunmetal in person but it's quite dark!

Pretty Serious Yuletide of the Machines is a brassy antique gold metallic foil. This polish had a super foily finish, the kind that could bunch up on itself if you applied a second coat too quickly. I needed just one coat for full coverage though. This color reminds me of Egyptian jewelry, it's pretty unique in my collection!

Glam Polish Queen of Mean Collection [Partial] Swatches & Review

I'm basically overdosing on Glam Polish lately and I love it! I've got another new bunch of shades to show you from them today if you can believe it! It's called the Queen of Mean Collection, inspired by "the cut throat world of Celebrity & Fashion." The names are taken from such things as famous fashion designers, the move The Devil Wears Prada, and the show Fashion Police. I'm not a fashion girl, but I can appreciate these just the same. Fashion for NAILS I guess, right! There are nine shades in the collection and I have six to show you, so let's dive it!

Attitude Is Everything is an uber bright sea green linear holographic. Fabulous easy formula, two coats for opacity. Absolutely stunning in the sunlight! I will be wearing this a ton!

Florals? For Spring. Groundbreaking. is a light lavender holographic with glass flecks and a hint of sparkling holographic microglitter. Another great formula, two coats here.

B*#tch Stole My Look is a vampy wine red intense linear holographic. This applied effortlessly in two coats. Not a super unique color, but definitely a statement maker! I couldn't quite capture its brilliance, it's more impressive in person.

Gotta Have It! Make It Stop! has a soft cornflower blue holographic base packed with sparkling multi-colored microglitter and tiny violet flakies. All of the Glam glitters I've tried are so easy to put on and this is no exception. Two coats with a thick top coat for smoothness.

Can You Please Spell "GABBANA" is a blush pink-peach linear holographic. Perfection in two coats. This looks less intense, a bit more muted, in most lighting, but in the sun it really pops.

What Exactly Is She Wearing? has a holographic charcoal jelly base packed with rainbow microglitter. Thinner but easy to manipulate. Two coats. I haven't really seen a polish like this from Glam yet and I really like it. I hope they do more!

The three shades I don't have are Starlet or Streetwalker? - a bright fuchsia intense holographic with tiny sparkling holo microglitter, I Don't Do Fashion. I Am Fashion. - a shimmering blue with a hint of holo microglitter, and Big Girls Need Big Diamonds - a periwinkle tinted intense silver holographic with holo microglitter.

GlitterDaze Winter 2015 Winter Night Trio Swatches & Review

Hey there and happy Monday! I have a trio for the Winter 2015 season to show you today from indie brand GlitterDaze. They have six shades to make up their seasonal release, but they can be purchased as gift sets in trios so I'm going to show them to you separately. This trio is called Winter Night.

Cold Nights is a cobalt blue jelly polish packed with holographic micro shimmer, holographic flakies, real silver flakes, iridescent flakies, and color shifting metallic flakes. This is a stunning shade of blue that makes the multicolored flakes pop out like northern lights! The jelly formula builds up nicely. This is two coats but you may need three depending on the opacity you want.

Fiery Embers has a deep, glowey maroon jelly base full of holographic micro shimmer, holographic and silver flakies, as well as iridescent and color shifting flakies. This shade kind of overtakes the colors of the metallic flakes, but in a good way, giving them all a berry wash making the shade look incredibly complex. More opaque than the blue, this is two coats.

Twinkling Lights is a dark charcoal grey jelly filled with multicolored shifting metallic flakes, silver and holographic flakies, and holographic micro shimmer. The flakes in this one seem the smallest and more varied, making it a confetti like mix of glitter in a galaxy night base. Great formula and opaque in two coats.

KBShimmer Winter 2015 Collection Swatches & Review

Hey heeeyy KBShimmer! I have the Winter 2015 collection from them to share with you today. There are 14 polishes in this bunch and they are all great, as usual haha. So let's take a look! I hope you like them as much as I do! :)

Claws And Effect is a midnight blue holographic polish with color shifting blue to pink glass fleck shimmer bits. The shimmer is front and center in lower lights, while the holographic comes out more in bright light. This was a little thin, but not difficult to control. Two coats was all I needed for full opacity.

For Fox Sake is a dusty, red leaning orange crème with the greatest name of any polish ever. This had the typical KBShimmer crème formula, amazing application and opaque in two coats. Almost a one coater though!

Brrr-tiful Dreamer has a creamy greyed out purple base with aqua, silver, purple, and fuchsia glitters. The base on this guy is pretty opaque so I only needed two coats. You'll always want a glossy top coat for these types of polishes to make the finish nice and level.

Owl Miss You is a soft beigey neutral tan filled with shifty gold and green metallic flakes and some warm metallic shimmer. This was thin and a little sheer on the first coat. Not runny though, so it was easy to apply and build up. I used three coats.

Chilly Pepper is another awesome crème, a bright red that's perfect for the holiday season. I had no issues with the application, opaque in two coats.

Smoke Signal is a dusty light grey crelly polish with different sizes of orange, red, and aqua holographic glitters. I absolutely love grey polishes, so I am head over heels with this one. The base was a bit light on this one so I used three coats, but you might only need two.

Kind Of A Big Dill is a deep spruce green jelly loaded with small and mini silver holographic glitters. It was kinda sheer, due to the jelly-ness, and wasn't quite as opaque as I wanted on two coats, so I layered on a third. This is one of my favorite types of polishes KBShimmer comes out with. We saw an awesome blue version from them in the Fall collection, so I hope she keeps adding to this family!

Coal In One is a charcoal grey linear holographic polish. This has a very strong holo rainbow effect, really vibrant. Excellent formula and opaque in two coats.

How Corn-y is inspired by Indian corn. It's a muted warm yellow crelly with burgundy, gold, red, and orange glitters. This guy has a ton of glitter in it, so you will have to manipulate it a little to cover your nail the way you want. I had some bunching of glitters, but it wasn't difficult to fix. This is three coats.

Fleece Navidad is soft, silvery light grey polish with holographic sparkle and color shifting blue to purple micro shimmer flakes. I already told you how much I love a good grey, so this is another winner for me. This is easy to apply, no issues. I used three coats for full opacity. Dries slightly dull so use a top coat for shine. Be careful when removing this one as the shimmer migrates and can get all over your skin.

sELFie is a holiday mix of holographic green, red, and silver glitter in a clear base. I layered one coat of this over Kind Of A Big Dill. I was really happy to see how much glitter I was able to get out on one coat with no effort, so you can probably build this up to opacity in three coats. I LOVE this combination! So blingy!

Oh Holo Night is a blingy holographic glitter topper featuring silver and blue holographic hexes and mini stars. I wore one coat of this over Coal In One and I love the result. This is easy to work with and spreads easily with great payoff. The glitter can sink in the bottle so I left mine upside down for a few minutes before I put it on.

Yule Worthy has a warm burgundy purple leaning brown base filled to the brim with metallic microflakes. The glitter in this can shift to looking either silver or gold depending on what lighting you're in, but I'm pretty sure it's silver. Great formula that is very simple to apply. Two coats. This is another one you'll have to be careful in removing because the shimmer migrates.

Toying Around is KBShimmer's 4th annual edition charity polish; $4 from each bottle will be donated to Toys for Tots! So obviously this is inspired by toys, it has a pale rainbow of matte glitters in squares, circles, triangles and hexes in a clear base with a bit of holographic micro glimmer. This is one coat over Chilly Pepper. I had to manipulate and place the glitter pieces a bit because you get a ton on your brush. So cute!

Zoya Mystery Trio Swatches & Review

Hello my dears, how's it going? I wanted to show you a fun little set from Zoya today. It was part of a promotion they did a while ago where you could get any three full-size polishes for $15 (which included shipping) plus an exclusive mini trio of shades that hadn't been available for purchase previously. I obviously jumped at that opportunity. I picked up a few shades I had previously purged from my stash and one new to me, but you'll see those another day. This post is about the mystery shades!

These three shades were created for Peter Som A/W 2014. I actually quite liked them when I saw them in posts back then, but I have to admit when I saw them in real life I was less than enthused. I suppose I (and a lot of other folks) had expected something more bright and exciting? I don't know, but definitely something we had never seen before from Zoya. Since I've tried them however, I have come around again and I actually really enjoyed them.

First is Charlotte, a camel toned nude crème with a slight green undertone. It was thin but creamy, and opaque in two coats. I don't know if it's the best nude shade against my skin tone but I like its simplicity.

This is Anais, one of my favorite names, a motor oil kinda color. It's almost black, but slightly brown and charcoal-y with a vein of silvery shimmer and super micro teeny copper bits. It's similar to OPI Queen of the Road. This had a thin formula too, but was easy to apply and opaque in two coats.

Severine is the last shade, it's a pewterish pale gold metallic that is slightly brush-strokey, but I actually don't mind that. This went on like a dream, also opaque in two coats. I liked this much more than i expected to.

I don't think I've ever tried Zoya mini bottles but I quite like them! They have a good amount of polish in them (0.25 fl oz) and the brush is not too small to get a good application. Unfortunately these three shades are not available for purchase on the Zoya website right now, I'm not sure if they ever will be. However, you may be able to find them on blog sales or places like Storenvy. Were you one of the many folks who took advantage of this promotion? Regardless, what do you think of these minis?

OPI Fifty Shades of Grey Collection Swatches & Review

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm bringing you the OPI Fifty Shades of Grey collection. It's a six color collection released in conjunction with the movie it's inspired by. I'm not going to debate anything regarding the books or the movie here, I know a lot of people have rather strong opinions on them haha, because we're here to discuss the nail polish! :) I enjoyed this small collection. It's technically supposed to be their Valentine's Day collection I think, but it's giving us very non-traditional Valentine's colors (save for 1 red). I'm not crazy about V-day so I can get behind a collection like this haha. Let's take a look see!

First is Cement The Deal, a pale cool grey crème with a tinge of blue. It's thin but opaque and easy to apply. This is two coats. I love grey polishes and this is actually a shade of it that I don't have already which is nice!

This is Dark Side Of The Mood, a deep charcoal grey with a vein of a kinda milky pearl shimmer. I've heard that people had a difficult time with this formula, but I didn't have any problems with it. It's thin but I was able to get it opaque in two coats.

Here we have Embrace the Gray, which really should have an 'e' not an 'a' to make it the same spelling as the collection name, but whatevs. I've always preferred the UK spelling personally. This is a medium grey crème that applies like a dream in two coats.

My Silk Tie is a silver shimmer frost. It's got a bit of a warm grey undertone which makes it a little different than your basic silvers. It does leave brushstrokes behind, if that concerns you I'd try to paint straight haha. I liked this more than I expected to. It had pretty good opacity, this is two coats.

This guy is called Romantically Involved, a deeper warm almost brick red crème. I heard one girl on youtube call this a "mature" red haha. It's thin like the other crèmes in the collection, but very opaque. I used two coats but you can almost get it opaque in one. I actually really like this shade on me.

The last one is called Shine For Me. That name kinda creeps me out to be honest, but I like the polish. It's got a sheer-ish silver shimmer foily base with medium/dark blue microglitters. I put on three coats here. It dries slightly bumpy, some have said it's textured, but I don't agree because it's so slight it is just like a regular glitter polish in my opinion.
