Glam Polish Halloween 2016 Trio Swatches & Review

I am back with my second same-brand-two-days-in-a-row post this month, haha. More Glam Polish! I have their stunning Halloween trio for this year to show you today. Do you remember last year's trio? Needless to say, I was super excited to see what they would come out with this year. Let's take a peek shall we?

Frankenslime 2016 is a neon green jelly filled with ultra holo glitter, multiple sizes of neon green, metallic purple glitter and a hint of holo. This is ultra neon, super eye searing! This is a little chunky due to how much glitter is in it, but with a great Glam Polish formula! Great coverage at two coats.

Be Careful What You Witch For… has a purple tinted holographic base packed with multiple sizes of silver holo, blue, sapphire, purple, lavender, magenta and pink glitter. Fabulous glitter payoff and lovely to apply. Two coats!

Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun is a light chartreuse holographic jelly with ultra holo glitter, multiple sizes of silver and blue holo glitter and plenty of glass flecks. A tiny bit thicker but not difficult to handle. This is also two coats.

This trio is releasing the same time as the Horror Shop shades I showed you yesterday, this Friday, September 30 at 1pm EST (USA) on the Glam Polish website. Individually they are $11.50 each and as a set they are $32. What do you think of these glittery lacquers?

SuperChic Lacquer Project Runway Collection Swatches & Review

Hi folks! I have the Project Runway collection from SuperChic Lacquer to show you today! I've had these swatches done for a while, they came out a while ago, but SuperChic's shop has been closed for a bit so I didn't want to post them while they were gone. They've been back since the beginning of the month, but I had posts scheduled so I couldn't fit them in before now. These are super opaque holographic shades, combining holo pigment and microglitter in a one-coat formula.

All of these have the same formula, thick and super glittery but surprisingly easy to apply. I used one coat for all of the swatches plus a layer of their new Marvel Plush velveteen top coat, which is designed to smooth out rough glitter, and a layer of shiny top coat (because Marvel Plush dries matte).

On Point is a silver metallic holographic microglitter.
SuperChic Lacquer On Point

Boots On The Ground is a muted military green holographic microglitter.

Material Girl is a pink raspberry holographic microglitter.

Take The Plunge is mermaid green holographic microglitter.

Skin Tight is a muted rose quartz pink holographic microglitter.

Own It is a vivid sky blue holographic microglitter.

Make It Work is an intense chartreuse holographic microglitter.

She Wears The Pants is a muted dark amethyst holographic microglitter.

These are available for purchase on the SuperChic Lacquer website for $11 each. The Marvel Plush topcoat is a revelation for super chunky glitters and I love it. It sells for $7.50. Let me know what you think of these glitter-rific shades! Are you a Project Runway fan? I admit I've never seen it, oops! You'll notice that SuperChic has changed their bottles again to these new large square ones, which I like and are easier to hold than their previous diamond-y squares or the round ones. Talk to you again soon cookies!

Different Dimension Fun In the Sun Collection Swatches & Review

Hi everyone! I have the awesome new Different Dimension Fun In the Sun collection to show you today, a six piece collection that just screams out SUMMER! I don't particularly love summer weather, I'm more of an autumnal girl, but I just love the nail polish colors we get to see during the season.

Surf's Up is a white crelly polish with added shimmers and neon pink, neon yellow and neon blue glitters in hex, circle, and square shapes. This is very glitter dense so it takes a bit of care to apply without it getting chunky on the nail. I used three coats here or you could layer one coat over an opaque white crème for a similar look.
Different Dimension Surf's Up

Starfish Wishes has a neon pink base filled with holographic silver microglitters. This was thick but not difficult to apply at all. Two coats here. You'll want a thick layer of top coat to cover the texture of the glitter, but it wasn't super gritty at all.
Different Dimension Starfish Wishes

Mermaid Kisses has a neon blue base filled with holographic silver microglitters. This has a thinner consistency than Starfish but it was just as easy to put on. Two coats for full opacity.
Different Dimension Mermaid Kisses

Soak Up The Sun is a neon chartreuse version of the two above, it has the same holographic silver microglitters but this time in a crazy bright highlighter colored base. This has the same thick formula as Starfish, also opaque in two coats. I was expecting to need another due to the type of color, but I was glad to see there was no streaky-ness.
Different Dimension Soak Up The Sun

Hello From the Other Tide has a silver holographic base with tons of silver holographic glitter and added neon pink, neon yellow and neon blue glitters in squares and hex shapes. This applied pretty great considering how glitter dense it is, it spread really well on the nail with minimal effort. This is two coats. I also used two coats of top coat to cover the texture of the glitter completely.
Different Dimension Hello From the Other Tide

Don't Be A Shady Beach has an almost neon magenta crelly base with matte black and silver holographic glitters. The black glitters come in circles, hexes, and squares and the silver glitters are thin shards. There also seems to be a very fine silver dust glitter in the polish as well. The large black glitters had a tendency to bunch up on each other, but other than that it applied easily. This is two coats. If you have whiter nail tips than I do, you might need a third coat.
Different Dimension Don't Be A Shady Beach

These are available now on the Different Dimension website now. The full collection is on sale right now for $50 for all six. Individually Starfish Wishes, Mermaid Kisses, Soak Up The Sun, and Hello From The Other Tide are all listed at $10, Don't Be a Shady Beach is $8.75 and Surf's Up is listed at a special price of $5. What do you think of the Fun In the Sun collection? Are you a summer person or nah? Talk to you again soon!

Different Dimension Mythical & Magical Collection Swatches & Review

I've got another some more goodies from Different Dimension for you today! This collection is called Mythical & Magical and it includes seven linear holographic shades and one glitter/crelly mix named after mysterious, otherworldly creatures! All of the holos apply the same, easy, smooth and are opaque in just two coats. They are so effortless to apply, I literally didn't need to do any clean up with my application on these! Let's take a look, yeah?

Unicorn is a silver ultra linear holographic with added purple shimmers and purple microglitters. This is more dimensional in person than I could capture in a photograph. The purple bits really give it a deep look!
Different Dimension Unicorn

Pegasus is a soft baby pink linear holographic with added color-shifting shimmers. I'm totally enamored with this rosey pink color, so gorgeous!
Different Dimension Pegasus

Dragon is described as a taupe linear holographic polish with added shimmers. I think it's got a gunmetal tinge to it as well, giving it an edge.
Different Dimension Dragon

Lochness Monster is a soft, creamy, pale green linear holographic with added shimmers. Springy and lovely!
Different Dimension Lochness Monster

Mermaid is a light blue ultra linear holographic with added green shimmers. I will never get tired of blue holos, and this one is seriously gorgeous!
Different Dimension Mermaid

Troll is described as a light yellow linear holographic polish with added shimmers. I feel as if it's slightly green and a little bit grey too, perfect type of color for the name!
Different Dimension Troll

Fairy is a lavender linear holographic polish with added color-shifting shimmers. The darker bits in this make it stand out from the others, seems like a purple version of Jack from their winter collection!
Different Dimension Fairy

Ponicorniphin is a white based crelly with added jewel-tone glitters and delicate shimmer. This is named after an inside joke of the owners, it's a combo of a pony, a unicorn, and a dolphin, which totally cracks me up! This applied nicely, not too thick and the glitters glided on the nail with ease. I used two coats here. You could also layer this over a white crème for a more opaque look, but I prefer it on it's own, so you see the depth of the layers of glitter!
Different Dimension Ponicorniphin

The full Mythical & Magical collection is available now on the Different Dimension website for $80. Individually the holos are listed at $12 and Ponicorniphin is specially priced at $5. Are you interested in any of these soft colored holos? Or is the crelly more your style? I'm in love with all of them, I'm not ashamed to say it! And if I had to pick just one magical creature, I'd definitely have to choose a pegasus haha. :) Tell me your pick, of creature and of polish color!

Moo Moo's Signatures New Shades Swatches & Review

What's going on cookies?? I have some awesome new polishes from Moo Moo's Signatures to share with you today! This Singapore based indie brand creates super cute polishes and they're always interesting and out of the box.

Yellow Hare is a neon yellow holo with tiny silver white flakies. This looks a little bit more green in certain lighting, I would call it a chartreuse. Two coats, pretty normal formula, but if you do thinner coats you might prefer using three layers.
Moo Moo's Signatures Yellow Hare

Meet Piggie Under The Sun is a "piggie" pink holographic which has an almost metallic finish, flecked with with tiny green and pink sparkles. Opaque in one coat but I used two here. Very easy and smooth application! Dries a bit dull so you'll want a top coat.
Moo Moo's Signatures Meet Piggie Under The Sun

Moo-struck is a purple scattered holographic with black stars, red stars, black dots, green dots, magenta hexes, turquoise hexes, iridescent glitters, silver and gold flakies. Also, this polish comes with a small bag of extra black and red star shaped glitters for extra bling! They would also be perfect for nail art, though I haven't tried that yet. This one has a similar formula to Yellow Hare but with the added glitters it made it a touch thick. I had to manipulate the glitters a tiny bit but nothing too intensive haha. This is two coats. Dries down to a satin finish so you'll want a top coat.
Moo Moo's Signatures Moo-struck

Whisper A Wish has a clear base with lots of pretty color-shifting translucent glitters, tiny silver stars, silver dots, gold dots, gold squares, holo silver hexes, holo gold hexes, tiny yellow-green iridescent glitters and tiny pink flakies. I've layered one coat over a black crème here to show off the iridescence. So firey and pretty! Easy to apply, with a little bit of placement for the larger glitters. Great glitter density!

These polishes are all available on their Etsy store now for around 12 Euros for each 12ml bottle. They are 3-free and ship from Singapore. What do you think of these pretties? Be sure to see my previous posts featuring other Moo Moo's Signatures polishes, a lot of them are still available in their store!

Glam Polish Alphabet City Collection [Partial] Swatches & Review

Hey there! Today I have a new collection being released on New Year's Day from Australian indie brand Glam Polish. The Alphabet City collection has nine bright ultra holo glitter shades inspired by the characters and songs from the Broadway Musical Avenue Q. I was slightly familiar with the musical but didn't know a ton about it until I got this collection for review; I've since looked into it more and it seems hilarious!

These all are the same style, super holographic with small round holo glitter, all applied excellently, and are opaque in two coats. One coat of top coat was sufficient for me to get a smooth finish. I'm always impressed with Glam Polish formulas, and these are no exception.

It Sucks To Be Me is cornflower blue. I'm obsessed with this color.
Glam Polish It Sucks To Be Me

Special is fuchsia. This usually isn't my favorite type of shade, but I think it looks excellent in this style.
Glam Polish Special

Not Wearing Underwear is bright aqua turquoise. Stunning and totally my style!
Glam Polish Not Wearing Underwear

The Internet Is For Pourn is a bright red with a slight pink tone. I'm always dazzled by red holos, and this shade is fantastic.
Glam Polish The Internet Is For Pourn

Mix Tape is an amethyst purple. This is a nice twist instead of the usual bright purples we see.
Glam Polish Mix Tape

Schadenfreude is a bright chartreuse. Oh em FREAKING gee! Everyone needs this!
Glam Polish Schadenfreude

The shades I don't have that complete the collection are: School for Monsters - grass green, Loud As the Hell You Want - bright orange, and The More You Ruv Someone - baby pink. Swatches of these three colors can be seen on my friend Lisa's blog. You can also see more swatches on the Glam Polish Facebook page and as well as photos of their other new collection being released the same day, a trio called The Purple Predicament.

This collection will launch on the Glam Polish website on January 1st at 1pm EST (USA) for $11 each. Shipping to Australia, USA, and France are available on that website; shipping rates to USA are $3.50 USD for the first polish and an extra $1.00 for each additional polish. Other international folks will be able to order from stockists like Harlow & Co and MeiMei's Signatures (no release date for them yet). Let me know what you think of this collection! I've been wearing these in rotation for a few weeks now, they're seriously amazing!

Cirque Colors Hustle Swatch & Review

Hi friends! Today I wanted to pop in and show you the newest edition to the Cirque Colors Metropolis collection. May's color is called Hustle it's a yellow chartreuse crème. This had an absolutely perfect formula, which I wasn't expecting because these types of colors are notorious for being difficult. This was opaque in two coats.

You can purchase this and the rest of the Metropolis collection crèmes on the Cirque Colors website for $13 each. What do you think of this offbeat yellow-green babe? I'm head over heels!

Have a great Sunday!
