I never used to be a typical red nail polish kind of girl. However, over the years I've warmed up to reds and I can safely say that now I can rock a red lacquer like a movie star at the Oscars, haha! This is one of my favorites, Girls Just Want to Play from OPI's winter 2008 Holiday in Toyland collection. It has that warm almost orangey tone to it, but it's definitely not an orange-red if that makes any sense. It's very bright and cheery which I love. This mani shows three coats.

ReplyDeleteI love reds but don't wear them often. I guess because I keep having to chop off my nails so short. Had to do it again last night. Damn peeling! Love this shade on you. Very pretty red. I have a hard time not ordering reds when I'm shopping online!

This one is really pretty ! One of my first (red) polish was Essie - Tomboy No More but it's darker. I also love China Glaze - Ruby Pumps and Ruby Deer

Ooooh loooooooooove this, so so pretty! I don't usually wear reds, I feel really self conscious when I do (weird, given that I'm wearing an insane amount of glitter on my nails right now). This looks fab on you!

ReplyDeleteGreat color on you! My faves are both by OPI: On Collins Ave and Big Apple Red. The brighter a red is, the better!

ReplyDeleteMy 2 favourite reds are Essie Lollipop (for a true red) and Essie Geranium (for a slightly orangey red). The OPi looks amazing on you, I may have to give it a go.
