OPI Burlesque Pt. 2

Hey kids! I hope your weekend is going well, I know mine has been pretty fair so far :) Here are a few more swatches from the OPI Burlesque Collection, inspired by the movie starring Cher and Christina Aguilera.
The Show Must Go On, Let Me Entertain You, Take the Stage
Rising Star, Tease-y Does It, Ali's Big Break
Tease-y does it is probably my favorite out of the non-glitters from this collection.  It's a dark plum brown crème with dark burgundy shimmer with a hint of gold.  There is also a bangin' duochrome going on in the bottle, but sadly it doesn't come out on the nail.  It's alright though, this color is pretty fantastic anyway!  This is two coats.

Rising Star is a warm gold copper foil.  Very "star" like so the name is very fitting.  Probably my second least favorite from the collection, but still a winner.  OPI did a great job with this collection, very flashy and reminds me of a Vegas show.  This is three coats.
My least favorite from the collection is probably Take the Stage.  And I really like oranges so I was sad about this one not making my heart leap.  It's cousin to Rising Star, same great metallic foil but the burnished orange just doesn't work for my skintone so I had to say "blech" to this one.  Although I'm sure someone out there pulls it off beautifully.  This is three coats.
Ali's Big Break is really stunning.  Along the same lines as classics like China Glaze's Ruby Pumps, but slightly brighter.  This cherry red jelly is full of pinky gold micro glitter that makes it a hot little ticket that I loved wearing.   This is three coats.  I apologize for not including a full hand photo of this, but my sun pictures of it turned out uber weird and no amount of color correcting will fix them :(
Coming up: the glitters!!

xoxo,
