i oppose the "safe cosmetics act"

  1. I just came to the part in the video where she says "they've only banned 8... ingredients". Sadly, one of the ones they banned - hexachloraphene, a very powerful over-the-counter acne soap - was later proven to be completely safe for humans to use on their skin. But the scientific studies that could have brought it back on the market were overshadowed by the silicone implant scares (why are THOSE still available) and I had to suddenly suffer from breakouts.
    If there's one thing I hate more in life than shoddy science, it's pimples.
